8 bit robo battle by donkeykonggod 8 bit robo battle by donkeykonggod
Always thought this fight would be fun outside of Marvel Vs. Capcom and I can only do 8 bit (my drawings suck) so this is what you get :D

This was made solely with Microsoft Excel 2007 so not a traditional art program. Hope ya like it.

Obviously all rights for Iron Man go to Marvel and Megaman goes to Capcom.

I found the Iron Man model here: [link]

yeah well this picture is 8-bit xD I couldn't get a normal Megaman proportional to the size of the Iron Man sprite so I decided to use Megaman X because it worked better :D

8-bit is mainly a system restriction,
for something to be classified as 8-bit it should thus be based on a system restriction of sorts from a 8-bit architecture.

Well then is this 16 bit? I honestly don't the difference very well. I just thought it was 8 bit and just went with it.

Doesn't matter that much , just saying its not 8-bit on a technical level :)
Some people refer to general pixel art as 8-bit nowadays it seems.

Well seeing as I took the background from an original Megaman game which was indeed 8-bit (to my knowledge at least) and the Iron Man looks more old school NES 8-bit I just kinda went with it xD Is it at least good even though I don't know my 8-bit/16-bit terminology very well?
